Honeybee Gardens recently had a need to re examine and elevate their already established brand in order to compete in the rapidly growing “Natural Chic” market.

Honeybee Gardens is all natural cosmetic company with a natural bent to providing products that not only enhance your natural beauty, but benefit your skin. If you look at the backs of any of their products you can actually pronounce their ingredients!

Working with Honeybee Gardens Has been an incredible experience. Watching HBG’s brand grow and change over the last two years has been an exciting and extraordinary experience. Over the last several months we have been working to prepare Honeybee Gardens with a new look and feel for the Natural Product Expo in Anaheim, CA.

Taking Ascent Adventure, to a new height with a new identity.

I met Brandon, several years ago while he was still in college at Bloomsburg University and I was at Kutztown. Brandon has a passion for life and adventure unlike anyone I have ever met? The guy runs head long into any challenge you put in front of him, and if it has a “sign your life away” form attached there is no stopping him. Soon after Brandon graduated, he and his new bride picked up and moved to North Carolina to start on a new adventure of their own.

Over the years Brandon found himself working in sales, but using all of his free time to still go after any challenges nature could confront him with. After sitting in multiple “team building” and training classes, and struggling to keep his eyes open…Brandon saw a way to bring his passion for the outdoors to people who wanted to accomplish more than they could on their own. He began to develop the company, known today as Ascent Adventure Consultants. AAC’s mission is to provide individuals and businesses with a dynamic way to break free from their normal routine and everyday experiences and accomplish something that seems out of reach, by offering professionally guided rock climbing and mountaineering adventures, as well as customizable corporate training and team building programs. They are committed to guiding every individual on an incredible adventure and equipping every business with the tools it needs to achieve its goals.

Brandon came to RM ideas in November of 2008 for some help in the direction of branding and marketing. With that began a long process of learning what Ascent Adventure was and what was the vision that Brandon had for his company over the next several years. Brandon explained that he could talk about this till he was blue in the face, but said I would just need to pack a bag and come down to North Carolina and climb with him to get the full understanding of his new company… (Brandon also has an amazing ability to make you do things you wouldn’t think you could do.) and so I did.

This brought about two more climbing trips and a series of long conversations that left us both challenged to look at things differently. In the end something Brandon said during our Visual Language study really struck me. He explained that what he wants from the people that go on his trips is an experience that they will retell around campfires and to their children about how they took on something that seemed out of reach. AAC was looking to be “Story Creators” and from that a brand began. www.ascentadventure.com
